BREAKING: Hunter Biden Convicted On All Charges In Gun Trial

Hunter Biden has been convicted of all three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018 prosecutors argued, the president’s son lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.

Jurors found Hunter Biden guilty of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making a false claim on the application by saying he was not a drug user and illegally having the gun for 11 days.

Hunter Biden’s ex-wife and a former girlfriend testified about finding his crack pipes and other drug paraphernalia as reported by Associated Press.

CNN noted that the conviction marks the first time a president’s immediate family member has been found guilty of a crime during their father’s term in office, though his crimes predate Joe Biden’s tenure as president.

President Biden expressed support for his son in a statement, while also saying he “will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal.”

Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000 at sentencing, though he likely will receive far less than the maximum as a first-time offender. The judge said a sentencing is usually set for 120 days following a verdict, which would put it in mid-October.
