The Independent National Electoral Commission says it has achieved 81.22 per cent in the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards.
The figure, which was released by the commission in Abuja on Friday, indicated that 55,904,272 registered voters had collected their PVCs.
INEC said the figure was based on the number of PVCs collected as of March 12.
There are 68,833,476 registered voters in the country.
The latest figure as released by the commission showed that Ogun State was still trailing other states and the Federal Capital Territory with a mere 49.46%. Ogun State has 1,829, 534 registered voters.
Zamfara State is leading other states with 95.97% of its 1,495,717 voters with their PVCs.
It is followed by Jigawa State, which scored 95.91% in PVC collection.
There are 1,831,276 voters in the state.
Elections are scheduled to hold across the country on March 28 and April 11.
While the Presidential and National Assembly holds on March 28, the Governorship and the State Houses of Assembly will follow two weeks later. (Punch)
