Edo Diaspora Women for Godwin Obaseki have described his second term reelection at the September 19 2020 gubernatorial contest as a victory for democracy, good governance and sagacity, and one that has made the ‘heartbeat’ of the nation more of a household name across the globe.
In a message of goodwill, signed on their behalf by Mrs. Adesuwa Omoruyi Obasohan, members of the group said Obaseki’s re-election has given them renewed hope for continued good governance in the Edo State.
Obaseki’s return to office, they said presented them the opportunity, to thank him for all his accomplishments since the last four years, with a renewed hope that the next four years will be a period of consolidation on the great achievements.
They pledged their continued support for the governor, saying: “We would also like you to know that Edo Diaspora Women for GO are totally behind you in making Edo great again, and we wish you well as you embark on your second term in Office.”

We join our Edo Brothers, and Sisters, to rejoice with you upon the announcement of your successful re-election. The heartwarming news of your victory at the polls has filled us with excitement across the globe, and we are so elated to have been a part of the process regardless of the fact that we were thousands of miles away.
Your return to Office has given us renewed hope of the continuation of good Governance, and allow us this opportunity, to say thank you for all you have accomplished in the last four years, and the next four years will solidify already made gains.
We pray our Almighty Father provides you the necessary tools, human capital, and all other needed resources, to accomplish your set goals. Your Skill Set, Dedication, Experience, Commitment, have inspired, and galvanized support and made Edo State an enviable State in the Country.
