Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, Oba of Benin felicitates with Christians on the occasion of Easter, which is used to commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
His Royal Majesty, Ewuare II enjoined Christians irrespective of denomination to use the period of Easter to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ and endeavour to emulate Christ in their daily living.
The Benin Monarch advises Christian leaders to endeavour to do exactly what they preach in order not to mislead their congregations.
While wishing Christians a happy Easter celebration, the OmoN’Oba reminded them of the need to extend hands of fellowship to the needy and less-privileged members of the society.
His Royal Majesty, Ewuare II calls on Christians to continually pray for the nation’s leaders and for the unity, peace, progress and development of Nigeria.
