Wike Not PDP’s Problem But Those Contesting Every Presidential Election, Says Dan Orbih

National Vice Chairman, South South of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Orbih, has opined that the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nysom Wike is not the problem of the party but those with entrenched interest of wanting to contest every presidential election without adherence to PDP’s Constitution.

Chief Orbih made the assertion while donating a new Secretariat office to the Edo State PDP on Wednesday in Benin, the state capital

He maintained that though PDP is a formidable party but not without its own problems.

Orbih called on the national leadership of the party, headed by Umar Damagum, to as a matter of importance come out stronger with a view to repositioning PDP.

He said: “PDP as a political party is formidable, but it still has its own problems and we must not shy away from them.

“Nysom Wike is not the problem of PDP, the problem of PDP is those who have entrenched interest of wanting to contest every presidential election without adherence to our constitution.

“I, High Chief Dan Orbih, hereby challenge the national of our party, that they should come out stronger, reposition our party and let people the difference between our party and other parties.

“For now, people saying where is PDP? But, today, I tell you in Edo State, PDP is here”.
