Benin City, Nigeria – As the Nigerian masses continue to face excruciating and harrowing economic situation, Christians have been advised to stick to God’s economic plans tenaciously, in order for them to survive within the system.
This perspective waa given by a prominent Nigerian religious leader, Rev. (Prophet) Harry Osayande, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria recently during the 2024 Special Annual Thanksgiving Service of the Final Word Grace Assembly International Incorporated (Transformation Centre).
Osayande who is the General Overseer of the fast growing church told the large congregation in his sermon, that “When God created every man he gave us a field to cultivate to survive any circumstances that might come our way.”
According to the clergy: “Never before in the history of Africa’s biggest country, has most homes finding it extremely difficult to cope with the current economic situation as we see it today.
“For many Nigerians this year’s Xmas is simply bleak and uninspiring. But the good news is that Christians should never depend on President Bola Tinubu’s economic agenda but the divine economic program from Heaven”
The charismatic preacher emphasized: “Anytime you depend on God He will surely take care of you and open the doors of favour and grace; anytime you rely on man like the current Tinubu’s government, he will always disappoint you. The point is very clear anytime you rely on God expect a stunning source of blessings. With God we all have capacity to regulate our lives positively for greater things.”
Quoting copiously from the Holy Bible, Rev. Osayande declared: “The story of the Shunammite Woman is based on the Old Testament scriptures 2 Kings 4:8-37 and 2 Kings 8:1-6. She is described as a great woman. She shows hospitality to the prophet Elisha and his servant, Gehazi as they pass through her village of Shunem on their way to Mt. Carmel, where God eventually blessed her abundantly”. At a time of unprecedented scarcity and hardship Only God could provide succour.”
The 2024 Final Word Grace Assembly’s Thanksgiving Service, with the theme “God Of Increase”, was massively attended by christian faithful who came from within the country and from diaspora.
The resident choristers electrified guests and parishioners with powerful and meaningful songs. Sumptuous meals and soft drinks were lavishly served at the grand ceremony.
