Teenager Allegedly Kills Woman Over N2,000 Sex Deal In Edo

Operatives of Edo State Police Command have arrested an 18-year-old Kingdom Paul for the alleged murder of a 38-year-old woman, Victory Oro in Benin City, Edo State of Nigeria.

The incident occurred last Thursday in a local lodge where Paul and Oro had gone following a negotiated arrangement.

The teenager was among suspected criminals paraded at the police Command headquarters in Benin City, Friday.

According to the police, the unprovoked altercation unfolded after the two fun seekers successfully secured a room in the lodge and Paul allegedly stabbed Oro. She was rushed to a hospital on Upper Ekenwan Road where she died. The police have since deposited her body in the hospital mortuary for an autopsy.

The spokesman, Edo State Police Command, SP Moses Joel Yamu, said “On 05/09/2024 at about 12:00noon, operatives of Evbuotubu Division acting on information, arrested one Kingdom Paul ‘m’ 18yrs who stabbed one lady named Victory Oro ‘f 38yrs in a lodge where they went to have fun. The victim was immediately rushed to Supreme hospital Upper Ekenwan where she gave up the ghost. Corpse deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy. Investigation is ongoing.”

Speaking, the suspect Kingdom Paul admitted to the crime, stating he attacked Oro suddenly and without any apparent reason, despite having earlier agreed to pay her N2,000 for the encounter.
