PDP Wins Ikpoba-Okha, But APC’s Okpebholo Heads To Osadebey Avenue

Edo State ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area having secured 26,382 in the just concluded gubernatorial election which took place on Saturday September 21, 2024 in the heartbeat of the nation.

However, this victory is not enough to see the party’s candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo through to the coveted seat at Osadebey Avenue.

The retuning officer of the local Govt presented the result before the state returning officer at the collation center, Prof Furuk Adamu Kuta, Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State.

With the declaration of election results from the eighteenth local government area of the state INEC will declare the winner of the highly contested gubernatorial race in the state any moment from now.
