Edo people went to the poll in all the local government areas of the state to elect their next Governor on Saturday September 21, 2024.
Voting was completed and results were collated from the polling unit level to the local government level.
Results from local government areas have been coming in to the state collation center since last night.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced collation by 11.45 am today at the state collation center Benin city with Prof Furuk Adamu Kuta, a Vice Chancellor from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State as the returning officer for the Edo Governorship Election.
