Abeokuta: The management of Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State has debunked what it called a baseless online post falsely implicating the institution in having fake professors.
Director of Communication and Marketing, Joshua Suleiman, stated this in a statement he made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, and published by the Vanguard on Sunday, saying the list, erroneously linked to the National Universities Commission, is not only malicious but also unfounded.
Suleiman said the University, known for meticulous due diligence in the recruitment of academic staff, upholds a reputation for a thorough scrutiny.
According to Suleiman, the institution is committed to providing a high standard of education, ensuring that its students’ futures are not jeopardized by the inclusion of faculty with questionable credentials.
He added that guided by unwavering values of quality, integrity, responsibility, and dedicated service to God and humanity, Babcock University assures its adherence to stringent standards.
He stated that the institution will continue to advocate meritocracy within its ranks.
While emphasizing the pursuit of excellence in education, Babcock University urges students, parents, and the public to dismiss the publication, described as misleading.
He reaffirms the institution’s unwavering commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality education.
The statement read; “Babcock University strongly condemns a faceless online post that places the University’s name on the list of universities with fake professors.
