My darling wife Vanessa!
It is with heavy heart and great sense of loss that I write this piece. Knowing you and being your husband the past twenty five years have been a blessing. You had many distinctive qualities that endeared you to me; calm, peaceful, cool-headed, levelheaded, considerate, genuine, family oriented, kind-hearted, and above all God-fearing! You had a beautiful soul full of love! In what is apparently genuine mutual love, you and l hardly quarrelled or feuded.
Despite our different spectrum of culture and upbringing, we tolerated each other adequately. In our marriage, we respected our individual views and never imposed our opinions on each other. We never allowed our individual shortcomings inhibit our relationship. We solved our common problems with utmost understanding. We stood by each other through thick and thin; good times and bad times. For all these, I appreciate you deeply and thank the Almighty God immensely for a wonderful wife that you were.
To say I will miss you, would be a monumental understatement. May the Lord grant you eternal rest until we meet to part no more! farewell, baby!!!
Your husband, Lucky Noma Osifo.
