Eghosa Anglican Grammar School Old Boys launched their Eghoba North America branch last Saturday August 19, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.
The historic event which was attended by dignitaries from all over the world was chaired by Prof. Anthony Okorodudu who doubled as chief launcher of the occasion.
Chief Micheal Ohuoba was the keynote speaker at the event themed: Giving Back to Our Alma Mater; The Role of Diaspora in Future Education.
At the launching event, Osarodion Ogie, Esq. Edo State SSG received Excellent Leadership and Humanitarian Award. The award was in recognition of his exemplary leadership, generosity and humanitarian services in the community and Edo State at large.
The award was presented by Dr. Osagie Igbinosun, Eghoba North America Board of Trustees Chairman and Prof. Ehigie Alile-Egbon, LOC Chairman, on behalf of Eghosa Grammar School Old Boys.
They thanked Osarodion Ogie, Esq. for his exemplary leadership, dedications to his alma mater and support in the renovation of Eghosa Grammar School buildings.
In his response, Osarodion Ogie, Esq. passionately thanked everyone for the honor and the award. He promised to collaborate with Eghoba North America and Eghosa Grammar School Old boys in general to help rebuild the school to a Model institution.
He also reiterated his commitments to continue working assiduously for the betterment of Edo State and the citizens.
Earlier in his speech, Dr. Osagie Igbinosun stated that Eghoba North America’s goal was to work in unison with all Eghosa Anglican Grammar School Old Boys to rebuild Eghosa Grammar School to a Model School with quality educational curriculum for the students.
