National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Comrade Julius Abure, has presented a registration card to Edo State serial gubernatorial aspirant Barrister Ken Imasuagbon.
He assured him of fair play and justice in the Labour Party, which is driven by the People’s interest.
Abure assured Imasuagbon that the Labour Party, which represents the family unit, will always stand with the Nigerian people.
Imasuagbon, who joined the Labour Party (LP), said he has come to the right place, where he is sure of victory in his political quest.
According to him, many would wonder what is the attraction to joining the Labour Party. He said Nigeria owns the Labour Party, and it is the platform for victory.
Imasuagbon said, “It is unlike a Nigerian, especially as a politician, for me to leave the All Progressives Party (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to say am coming to Papa and Mama Pikin.
“The real thing is actually Papa and Mama Pikin. Even those other guys who are on the other side, the Demons, the Caterpillars, and the cankerworms, know this.
“The Bible says, know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Labour Party is the truth.
Labour Party is the end of my 20 years of the voyage in pain, misery, and deception, and here is Labour Party, I thank you, Nigerians.
“I am here on behalf of the Edo people. As am talking to you now. “Across the 192 wards, people are joining the Labour Party (LP), we have decided to come and join the Labour Party as it will from Labour to Victory.
“We shall see who owns Edo between the other party and the Labour Party.
The Labour Party is God and the People.
“I must also thank the youths of Nigeria, who supported you people. What I did not see, is that the Obedient Datti Movement is solid.
