Benin City, Nigeria – Nigerians from all walks of life have been urged to use their voter’s card as a revolutionary tool on February 25, 2023.
This call was made by the Chairman, Media & Publicity Committee of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council (LP-PCC) Edo State, Comrade Igbotako Nowinta, in a press statement he released on Monday.
The campaign spokesman said the Presidential candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu respectively are agents of retrogression that have nothing tangible to offer the electorates in today’s Nigeria.
According to Comrade Nowinta: “We don’t see a soothing balm in Bola Ahmed Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar that will percolate to the psyche and conscience of the Nigerian people. No amount of propaganda and slogans being churned out massively about these yesterday men, should be allowed to sway the resolve of Nigerian people to reclaim our country
“Atiku and Tinubu represent very dangerous cycle of systemic deprivation, insensitivity and perpetuation of poverty in Nigeria. Who says these faded and failed men would not savagely cripple the state of Nigeria if they find their way into the corridors of supreme political power?
“Over the years, Nigerians have painfully come to know these men as thoroughly and comprehensively corrupt; their political report cards are indeed nourished by self-intents and insatiable greed to amass and amass; simply put they are going to be grand disservice to Nigerian people if elected into office.
“Therefore, l passionately urge Nigerians from all walks of life to use their voter’s cards as a revolutionary tool on election day, to vote and knock out Nigeria’s political evil spirits. The only viable opportunity and alternative is for the good people of Nigeria to vote and vote Peter Obi of the Labour Party, as the next president of Nigeria.”
