…Backs impeachment of President Buhari
Edo United Forum (EUF) has condemned the proposed Water Resources Bill, being considered in the National Assembly, describing it as an attempt by the Buhari-led Government to enslave the Niger Delta and entire Southern Nigeria.
The group made its position known at the Conference of All President Generals of Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities on “The Water Resources Bill & Other Critical National Issues,” which was held recently at the Civic Centre Conference Hall, Oron, Akwa- Ibom State of Nigeria.
In a position paper signed on behalf of the Edo United Forum (EUF) by its Chairman, Uwadiae Odigie, and General Secretary, Comrade Igbotako Nowinta, the group also announced its support for the impeachment move against President Muhammadu Buhari by some lawmakers.
Below is full text of the statement:
It is clear that our country is faced with potent and imminent danger, as a result of the disastrous activities of General Muhammadu Buhari since May 29th, 2015.
The monumentability of the national disaster confronting Nigeria, is puzzling and mindboggling.
What the present leadership at the centre represents is abject fragility and failure, even as health care, socio economic activities are now in shambles; coupled with high inflation and food crisis.
The Dollar to Naira is now $1 to #710, as the Naira becomes weaker by the day.
Now in the midst of the current bewildering realities orchestrated by the government of General Muhammadu Buhari, that believes Nigeria is bequeathed to the Fulanis by Usman Dan Fodio, where a wave of banditry and kidnapping have become a norm; even as citizens have become palpable pawns in the hands of bloodthirsty hoodlums, we are now being confronted with a crazy and demonic agenda to colonize the people of the Niger Delta with the Water Resources Bill.
We concur with our brothers here that this Water Resources Bill is a back door re-introduction of the vexatious and rejected RUGA, and a deliberate grand design, and device to Fulalize the people of Southern Nigeria.
In as much that there is devastating evidence everywhere about the above conspiracy by General Muhammadu Buhari and his kinsmen, we must not allow ourselves to be consumed by these Fulani ravenous wolves.
The Water Resources Bill, as it is being propelled and perfected by adherents of Fulani ethnic supremacy, is an organized hair-brained bid not only to undermine our democracy, but to perpetually enslave the people of the Niger Delta.
We are being battered and bled to death in this country by systemic treachery and insults orchestrated by General Muhammadu Buhari and his Fulanistic gang.
Because the government of General Muhammadu Buhari, has failed woefully to deliver the dividends of democracy, and criminally lost absolute control of things in the country, we are using this medium to urge the National Assembly to follow the impeachment process recently initiated against President Buhari, to logical conclusions
