Prime Minister Of Oviorie-Ovu Community Calls For Prayers

Oviorie-Ovu, Delta State, Nigeria – Otota (Prime-Minister) of Oviorie-Ovu Community in Isiokolo, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Moses Onagharakpote Akpoyoware – Onoyivwinta, has called on his people, and Nigerians in general, to continue to dedicate themselves to prayers.

He said that God is the only way to societal sanity, sustainable peace and development.

Chief Akpoyoware-Onoyivwinta made this call in his residence in Oviorie, at las Friday when some notable Chiefs in Oviorie-Ovu community paid him a courtesy visit, in commemoration of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

According to the 92-year-old retired civil servant, gifted orator: “Nigeria is at a crossroads today, looking at the social, security, economic and political turbulence surging at the people.

“And the only way out from my own perspective is to take the matter continuously to God Almighty, who is in the perfect position to see us all through these difficult times.

“Agreed that the political leadership appears confused, inactive and helpless, but with steady consultation with the Creator of the Universe, we will never be victims of these unprecedented circumstances.

“So l sincerely urge the people of Oviorie-Ovu in particular and Nigerians in general never to abandon the efficacy of prayers, and should use this Easter Celebration to communicate with God and learn to demonstrate the cardinal teachings and principles of Jesus Christ, who died and rose to redeem mankind from damnation and suffering”.

While he wished the people of Oviorie-Ovu community a happy Easter Celebration, the Otota who was visibly excited to see the visitors entertained his guests lavishly.
