New Political Movement Emerges In Abuja, Vows To Tackle Insecurity, Poverty

By Bob Majiri-Oghene Etemiku

Abuja, Nigeria – A political movement, known as ‘Take the Bull by the Horns,’ has emerged in Abuja, in the build-up to political activity for the 2023 elections, with a promise to fight endemic problems like banditry,  insecurity, poverty and  high cost of living in Nigerian.

Mr. Manual Oyeoka, ‘Moyeoka’, leader of the movement told newsman in Abuja that the goal of the organization is to promote good governance, justice, and leadership redirection for Nigeria.

“We believe that Nigeria is indeed sick and bleeding. We know for a fact that Nigeria s present condition will not lead us to disintegration or to war. Our problems are man-made and self-inflicted, and therefore we need people who will take difficult, hard and tough decisions to salvage Nigeria,” Mr. Moueoka said.

Spokesman of the movement, Jude Audu warned that if President Muhammadu Buhari fails to sign the Electoral Act presented to him by the National Assembly, it would signal the death of Democracy in Nigeria.

“The only way that President Buhari can wipe his slate of bad government clean, and replace it with a clean one is that he should stop listening to Mr. Malami, the Attorney General and Justice Minister, and sign the Electoral Bill to law.

“Our movement will do the right thing by putting square pegs in square holes after we replace the current administration in 2023,” Mr. Audu said.
