Christmas Murder: Edo Police Hunt For Man Who Murdered Girlfriend For Money Ritual

Edo State Police Command says it has commenced a manhunt for a man identified as Osas over the alleged gruesome murder of his girlfriend, a twenty nine year-old lady, Elohor Oniorosa at an apartment rented by the suspect.

The suspected ritualist, said to be a Ghana-based Nigerian Yahoo Boy, allegedly killed Elohor Oniorosa for money ritual.

The incident reportedly occurred on the eve of Christmas, somewhere in the suburb of Ovia North East  Local Government Area, which is part of the Benin metropolis, where the suspect allegedly invited the deceased and reportedly slaughtered her.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Edo State Command, DSP Kontongs Bello said following the report of  the Incident the  police commenced investigation into the alleged murder.

Bello said: “The suspect’s name is Osas. Surname unknown, who is a boyfriend of Elohor Oniorosa, daughter of one William Oniorosa, who reported that incident to the police.

“Investigation is on. Meanwhile, the suspect is on the run. The incident happened on the 24/12/2021 he added.

The police PRO urged the suspect to turn in himself as he will soon be arrested and  prosecuted.

Meanwhile, the scenario at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Oniorosa following the gruesome murder of daughter is that of pain and agony.
