Concerned Edo Citizens Forum Sets Fresh Agenda For Obaseki New Administration

Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF)  has  called on the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin  Obaseki to  use his  victory  at an Abuja federal high Court  to reward Edo people with  massive people-oriented infrastructural and Human Capital  development projects to justify the huge confidence reposed on him.

The Diaspora Coordinator of the organization, Mr. Fatai Efehi Mustapha, and Convener of the Forum, Comrade (Prince), Roy Oribhabor told newsmen in Benin City that they were also seizing the opportunity to appeal to the opposition to jettison the decision to appeal the case of alleged certificate forgery but to show spirit of sportsmanship and accept the outcome accordingly for the state to move forward.

CECF  observed that the Judiciary in Nigeria  has once again demonstrated the truth, that they are the last hope of the common man and that if all else have  failed in the Country they are still worthy to be reckoned with.

The Forum remarked: “The Judiciary pronouncement has further confirmed that, the endorsement of Mr. Godwin Obaseki’s at the 2020   election was not done in error and saluted their Courage.”

CECF also showered encomiums on the President, Mohammadu Buhari for creating enabling environment for the constituents to freely exercise their Franchise to further strengthen the nation’s fledgling democracy.

The Forum expressed felicitation towards Mr. Godwin Obaseki on his victory at the court as well as commend the good people of Edo State for the determination to remain focused and supportive of the administration of the “amiable Governor.”

The Forum, above all, expressed “absolute delight and thank God for the grace and mercy to overcome the political maneuvering of the Political affairs of the State in favour of a few greedy Persons.”
