Catholic Priest Charges Female Journalists To Sustain Fearlessness, Be Humble Watchdogs Of Society

Members of the Edo state chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, and   Christians world wide  have been asked to be humble just as Jesus Christ was while on  earth in their daily endeavours.

A visiting priest,  Reverend Father, Ephram Itaman gave the advice at the thanksgiving of Edo state chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, held recently at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Airport Road Benin city.

Father Itaman emphasized  that it pays to be humble and  lifted by God as exhibited by many other Prophets of God and consummated by Christ Jesus

He noted that as Christians celebrate the feast of baptism of Jesus Christ believers should know that they have been redeemed by God.
The Clergyman particularly commended the Female Journalists for thanking God whom he asked to guide and protect them throughout the year and beyond especially as they are in a very volatile Profession.

The Chairperson of the Association, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimua who led other members to the thanksgiving expressed deep appreciation to God Almighty for the protection and other kind favours  throughout the past year and asked for more  of God’s Grace to be able to pilot the affairs of the associations credibility.

Highlights of the Thanksgiving service was when the Members of the Association danced to the Alter to present their thanksgiving offering to the Lord amidst songs of Praise.
