A Nigeria academic giant and Pastor, Dr. William Eyinmosan has condemned in strong terms the recent refusal of President Muhammadu Buhari to appear before the House of Representatives, on the worsening  security challenges in the country.

Pastor (Dr.) Eyinmosan gave the condemnation during the 2020 Annual Thanksgiving Service of Absolute Victory Bible Church, which took place last Sunday, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

Pastor William Eyinmosan, a consultant in English Language and a reputable West African Examination Council (WAEC) examiner in Nigeria, stated that  Buhari’s refusal to bow to the resolution of the House of Representatives, inviting him to come and address them on the state of insecurity in Nigeria, is an insult to the electorates in Nigeria.

His words: “lt shows clearly that the President and his legal advisers have no regard for the masses of Nigeria, because members of the House of Representatives are statutory representatives of the people.

“In a situation like this current acute security challenges, we are expected to ask questions and our Legislators are in the position to do that for us.
“As long as President Muhammadu Buhari refuses to appear before our representatives, he is directly insulting all of us. This is quite unfortunate and sad.

The 7th Thanksgiving ceremony of the Absolute Victory Bible Church themed: “He has done great things,” was graced by parishioners and several invited guests, including Joseph Asaolu (Guest Speaker), and a renowned Benin City publisher cum printer, Hon. Lucky Diagi.

Melodious songs were rendered by the host choir of the church that thrilled the audience.
