Trump Says He Leaves Hospital Today, Defies Medical Advice, Downplays Coronavirus

Against medical advice, United States President, Donald Trump tweeted a few minutes ago that he is leaving Walter Reed Medical Center, where he had been admitted since last Friday for coronavirus treatment.

“I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good!”

In downplaying the disease, Trump further said in the tweet: “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”

Meanwhile, the list of people around Trump who tested positive to the disease continues to grow. Among them is his Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany who announced this morning that she tested positive.

Trump’s tweet about leaving the hospital is coming on the heels of his Doctor, Sean Conley’s plan to address the press any time from now.
