By Isaac Eranga

Presiding Bishop of Zion City Christian Revival Ministry Int’l, Lagos, has described the recent victory of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state as God’s will and a result of hardwork, sterling Performance during his first term, humility and respect he has for people.

Bishop Mike John cleanton said this at a thanksgiving service of his ministry at Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos recently.

He said what has happened in Edo state politically was a proof of God’s power on those who diligently seek and acknowledged Him as all and all to whom power and authority belongs.

While asking members of his ministry to continue to pray for the governor to keep winning and succeeding in all affairs and to finish strong with good health, the bishop urged the governor to consolidate on the democratic dividends and achievements his first term had recorded.

He also asked the governor to forgive all his offenders, carry everyone in the state along but be wise in dealing with people and issues.

Speaking with newsmen at the rose of service, the bishop expressed appreciation to all Edo people for the confidence reposed in the governor and called on other party members to join hands in moving the state forward as Obaseki’s victory was victory for democracy.

The bishop appealed to politicians who lost during the election to accept defeat or seek legal redress instead of overheating the polity.

It could be recalled that Bishop Mike Johncleanton had prophesied the victory of the governor backed by divine messages, and published in the Weekend Observer of August 28, 2020.
