Mr Peter Esele has made a non-committal statement, which is apparently only valuable to the politically uninitiated.
As a formidable member of the APC. So, for him to say that he is remaining in part of the APC without more, means he is in fact wishing Mr. Obaseki well in his electoral pursuit.
That he has not as much as said anything more for the APC and its candidate, speak volumes about his half-heartedness and dissonance. Maybe the leadership can engage him more, to be sure.
But reading between the lines, he only stopped short of saying, “I am still in APC, but I support Obaseki!”. How’s this different from the approach just now of Mr. Anslem Ojezua who continues to fight over chairmanship and location of party secretariat even as his preferred choice in Mr. Obaseki has since decamped to PDP?
Let the APC leadership engage Mr. Peter Esele, and separate him from his dissonance.
