Gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu submitted his nomination form to the national secretariat of the party in Abuja today ahead of the primary election scheduled for the 22nd of June.
He was accompanied by Engr. Lawrence Okah, Secretary to the faction of Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress loyal to National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
A statement signed on Friday by Mr. John Mayaki, the Director of Communication and Media to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Campaign Organisation confirmed this development saying, “Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has submitted his form earlier today at the party headquarter in Abuja.
Mayaki said, “It is another attestation to the fact that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is ready for the party primary where members of the APC in Edo state will get to decide who will fly the party’s flag in the governorship election.”
Recall that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu was jointly endorsed by the other aspirants of the All Progressives Congress in a consensus agreement.
