Nigeria has now hit 7526 cases of coronavirus pandemic with the report of two hundred and sixty-five (265) confirmed cases by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control on Saturday.
The numbers reflect confirmed cases in thirteen state of the federation, with Lagos State standing atop with 133 new cases, followed by Oyo (34), Edo (28), Ogun (23), FCT (22), Plateau (6), Kaduna (5), Borno (3), Niger (3), Anambra (2), Bauchi (2), Enugu (2) and Kwara (2).
Besides the 13 states referred to above, according to the NCDC, no new state recorded a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 24 hours (of Saturday).
The report further sated: The total number of states including FCT that have reported at least one confirmed case in Nigeria is still 35 (34 states + FCT).
• One hundred and sixty-seven (167) cases were discharged in the last 24 hours in thirteen (13) states – Lagos (45), Borno (30), Edo (18), Kaduna (16), Gombe (13), Bauchi (9), Kwara (9), Oyo (9), Plateau (9), Adamawa (5), Ogun (2), Akwa Ibom (1) and Ekiti (1).
• No (0) deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in all the states, (again as of Saturday).
