• On the 18th of April 2020, 48 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria • Till date, 541 cases have been confirmed, 166 cases have been discharged and nineteen deaths have been recorded in Nigeria • The 48 new cases are reported from six states- Lagos (23), FCT (12),Kano (10), Ogun (2), Oyo (1). • A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities
