Pan-Edo/Delta Group, the Midwest Movement has described as an act of God, the election of Senator Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege as Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President during the inauguration of the nation’s 9th senate session in Abuja on Tuesday.
In a message of congratulations signed by its President, Dr. Don Pedro Obaseki, the group, noted that with his elevation Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is today the highest ranked official of Midwest/Bendel extraction in Nigeria since the nation’s return to civilian democracy in 1999.
