Speaking at the residence of Barr. Otoboh in Benin City, Obaseki represented by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, consoled the family and prayed to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
He said that only God could console, comfort and heal the pain the entire family is going through over the death of late Victor Otoboh.
The governor described late Victor as a young, vibrant man, well-educated, highly skilled with a lot to contribute to the development of the state and nation at large. He described the death as a big loss.
According to him, “As a government, we will stand by you in this trying time. We will support you and do everything possible to help the healing process.”
Speaking for the family, former Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Barr. Augustine Akhuamhenkhua, expressed appreciation to the governor for sending a delegation to console the family, noting that the visit will go a long way in assisting the family to get over the loss of their son.
