His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, Oba Of Benin, felicitates with Muslims faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration, with a call on all Muslims to emulate the virtues of prophet Mohammed, the most merciful and most benevolent.
In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Oba last weekend, Mr. Desmond Agbama, the Benin Monarch said as the Nation gradually approaches another election year Muslims should pray fervently for peace and security as well as for a free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria.
The Omo N’Oba reminded Muslims of the need to live harmoniously with other Nigerians irrespective of religious leanings in order to ensure peace, unity and progress of the country.
