Oba Ewuare II Foundation Skills Acquisition Workshop Ends In Benin

… Participants Urged To Utilize Acquired Skills

 

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]kills acquisition training workshop organized by Oba Ewuare II Foundation has been concluded with a charge on participants to use the skills acquired during the training program to better their lives.

The Secretary to Oba Ewuare II Foundation and Private Secretary to Oba of Benin, Barr. Eseosa Eremwanarue congratulated the participants for the successful completion of the two weeks training workshop.

He said the Foundation would continue to assist youths in the state, provided they were ready to shun illegal migration and other crimes for the pursuit of legitimate business.

Barr. Eremwanarue charged them to remain worthy ambassadors of the Foundation and endeavor to impart the knowledge and skills acquired on others for economic empowerment.

He thanked the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) for the training and promised to sustain the relationship between NDE and Oba Ewuare II Foundation for the benefit of the people.

Some of the participants expressed gratitude to the Oba of Benin for the opportunity provided for them to acquire skills that will serve as sources of livelihood for them.

They promised to put into judicious use the knowledge and skills acquired during the two week training programs.

The training in cosmetology included Liquid Soap making, Perfume, Menthol, Vim, Vaseline, among others. Highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates of completion to the 50 participants, including Libya returnees.
