Oba Ewuare II Foundation Disburses Last Chunk Of Stipend To Libya Returnees

Oba Ewuare II Foundation has disbursed the last chunk of stipends to the Libya returnees, fulfilling His Royal majesty, Ewuare II’s promise to pay 78 Libya returnees who paid him courtesy visit earlier in the year the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira each for three months to enable them settle down.

Oba Ewuare II Foundation also engaged the Libya returnees in skills acquisition training in order to make them self-reliant with legitimate source of livelihood. Addressing the beneficiaries on behalf of Oba Ewuare II Foundation, Princess (Barr) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare Aimiuwu told them to be patient and steadfast, pointing out that there is more to what is already on ground.

She charged youths to eschew violence and be good ambassador of Benin Kingdom.The Face of Oba Ewuare II Foundation, Miss Ifueko Aideyan said the foundation has been able to boost the morale of the Libya returnees through the philanthropic gesture of the Oba of Benin.

She calls for support and collaboration from individuals, organizations to help put a stop to illegal migration and human trafficking in the state. Miss Ifueko Aideyan assured them that His Royal Majesty will continue to support them through skills acquisition and gainful employment.

Secretary of the returnees, Mr. Amawu Osamwonyi thanked the Oba of Benin for the kind gestures and fatherly support assuring that they will put it to judicious use and remain good ambassadors of Benin Kingdom.
