Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari will send a letter to parliament next week to formally resume power, after nearly two months away on medical leave, his spokesman said on Friday.
He said he will not resume power immediately, instead leave his vice in charge.
Femi Adesina said in a tweet that the letter to the National Assembly will be sent on Monday, adding: “That makes his return to work formal, and constitutional.”
