Fire of Life Ministries Set For Church Dedication Sunday

By Alltimepost.com

Following years of community outreach, Boston-based evangelical mission, Fire of Life Ministries, now has a church of its own to be dedicated to the glory of God on Sunday October 30, 2016.

The event will take place at the church building, 66 Spark Street Brockton, Massachusetts, United States of America from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

The founder of the Ministries, Apostle Naomi Osagiede told Alltimepost.com during the weekend that the circumstances leading to the acquisition of the church were something beyond her imagination and can only be described as the work of the almighty God.

She said the plan for consecration of the church was put together to give thanks and adorations to God for the manifestation of His abundant blessings in her life and the life of her ministries.

Apostle Osagiede hinted that quite a good number of religious ministers, church members, friends and family members would join her in the dedication ceremony which will feature preaching, testimonies, among others.

On why she choose Brockton for the church, she said it was not her choice but of God, adding that in the first place she did not even think of having a church, but rather wanted to continue her community outreach with her ministries.

According to her, since the past two years she had chosen a shelter in Brockton where she and her family went to volunteer, donate food, clothes and other needed items to the people at the facility.

While doing that, she found the need to minister to them every Sunday and they began to look up to her service on weekly basis.
Not quite long ago, she continued, she got the hint that the government had declined to renew the shelter’s permit.

However, the authority gave vouchers to the residents to go elsewhere for other suitable places of abode. She said when the Shelter management broke the news, not only were the people distraught, bus she was as well, because of concern that she might lose contact with them.

And so they eventually moved to different cities to find other housing facilities with their vouchers. However, the people told her they wanted to maintain contact and be able to congregate for the word of God as they had done with her since the past two years.

About two months after, In the midst of her disappointment, she received information through a real estate agent that a church in the city, called the People’s Pentecostal Assembly was having problem surviving due to financial crunch, occasioned by declining membership.

According to her, through the agent, she had a meeting with the management of the church to seek the possibility of renting a place for about two hours every Sunday. The result of the meeting, she said was fruitful as the management agreed to her request.

Surprisingly, within a month and a half, the church management turned around and offered to transfer the ownership of the church to Fire of Life Ministries without taking a dime. That is the miracle behind the inception of the church, she said.

“With this new development, God has called me to a full-time Ministry,” said Apostle Osagiede, while reflecting on her evangelical journey so far. It is a journey I never knew will turn out this way, to the extent of having a church.”

I just wanted to continue to reach out to people in the community in different ways as a way of giving back by going to the shelters, taking care of the orphans, the widows, the poor, etc., sharing the word of God with and empowering them to tap into the spiritual essence of their beings.

“It was never in my imagination that I would be doing this, talking about church dedication,” she said.
