Edo National Association Worldwide International Park and Recreation is a key part of the good quality of life in Utekon Benin City, Edo State and Nigeria in general.
Since December 15, 2015 when it was officially declared open in a historic ceremony, it has made significant addition to the outdoor life and physical vitality which are the hallmarks of Edo unique hospitality.
It has always been the vision of ENAW that the heartbeat of the nation remains a vital community, surrounded by natural beauty.
ENAW International Park and Recreation is a fulfilment of every part of that vision, and that is the reason I am particularly proud of the association and all that it was able to achieve last year, from fundraising activities to the actual creation of a new dynamic and functioning facility.
This, undoubtedly is a clear testimony of the fact that our people in diaspora and those at home (Nigeria) have continued to dedicate themselves to the service of their community.
We are so fortunate to be born in Edo State where leisure comes alive with myriad of fun activities for the whole family.
The Park & Recreation facility is committed to providing a balanced and sustainable value – focused system of park, recreation and open spaces that create a sense of community and meet the needs of not only our vibrant communities but tourists who will definitely find the park as the last bust stop for recreation while approaching their destinations.
Whether you choose to explore the sunshine out-doors or indoors where it’s warm and inviting at Edo Heritage Union of Mississippi Gazebo, Akugbeoretin Club of Chicago Gazebo, or ISNO- Gazebo, be rest assured that the administrator of the Park is ready to assist you and meet your needs.
If you had the chance to visit some of our newly opened amenities in December 15, 2015, starting from the large multipurpose sport court –basketball court to public accessible Water Splash Pad, the children fun rides, recreation trails to gorgeous community, it would have been a life time experience.
The Park is proud to focus efforts on providing Conservation, Health & Wellness, and Social Equity through Parks and Recreation in Edo State, Nigeria.
In achieving conservation, the Park is significant in preserving natural resources that have unquantifiable economic values to Edo State in addition to tangible environmental benefits.
Also, ENAW International Park will remain the voice for ensuring that open land is protected.
In the health & wellness aspects of our lives, the Park will lead in improving and enhancing health and wellness by giving access to fitness, sports, healthy lifestyle campaign for all ages and human abilities.
The gains for our people in Edo state and other visitors would be in reducing obesity, physical inactivity, and poor attitudes, while strengthening skills to enrich our minds and bodies.
In social equity, the Park strives to be the catalyst for ensuring that all residents in Edo State have equal access to the resources & services.
It offers opportunities that transcend income barriers through zero income fee structure and scholarship opportunities through events and sponsors.
The management of the park hopes that visitors to the facility reach their goals, discover new
adventures through it, increase their knowledge, live a healthy life style and be happy doing it.
