Without any bias against the Republican Party, it is noteworthy that Trump’s uncivilized, unguarded and explosive utterances both during debates and electioneering campaign are unequivocally deeply rooted in the party’s rhetoric of “we want our country back” – a slogan that bears all the hallmarks of racial divide, concocted by the party’s leadership since a black man, Barrack Hussein Obama became the president of this great nation. The questions now are who took away America and from whom are they taking it back?
The United States of America is currently under the grip of a terrific human fever in Donald Trump, who is desperate to succeed President Barrack Obama come November 2016. Does the world really want a Donald Trump America?
Franklin Delano Roosevelt unarguably was one of the greatest Presidents the United States has ever produced. He became the 32nd president on March 4, 1933 at the age of 51.
Roosevelt came in at a terrible time in the nation’s history when most Americans were feeding from the garbage dump because of the economic crises otherwise known as the great depression, occasioned by the Wall Street crash of Tuesday October 29, 1929.
As confusion, uncertainty and fear confronted the citizens, President Franklin Roosevelt calmly told his country men and women in January 1933 that: “the only thing you have to fear is fear itself.”
Thus began a spectacular era in the United States in which the Federal Government abandoned conservationism, aloofness and indifference.
Roosevelt articulated a comprehensive economic plan to save the nation, including gigantic public works, which he named: “the new deal.”
As a Democrat, Roosevelt’s new deal came with high inspiration, courage, hope, responsibility and confidence, and galvanized the people beyond their wildest expectations as they embraced his revolutionary programs with open hands.
That was the first time too that the largest numbers of black Americans were allowed to take part in the practical administration of their country.
Before long, the social, political, economic, industrial, military and technological fortunes of United States took a giant leap forward.
As he was busy making his country a giant world power, a strange, powerful and mysterious character whom the whole world later knew as Adolf Hitler was quietly perfecting his dictatorial and destructive tendencies in Germany.
This led to the Second World War into which America was drawn, following the bombing of Pearl Harbor by Japan on December 7, 1941.
Roosevelt’s sudden death on April 12, 1945 after helping Great Britain and then Soviet Union to defeat Adolf Hitler, his closest ally, Benito Mussolini and the satanic Japanese influence during the war shook the hearts of all people of good will.
If Franklin D Roosevelt made United States a world power, as an arsenal of democracy, John F. Kennedy preserved the might of his country and secured the democratic world in 1964 when he looked at Nikita Khrushchev of the then Soviet Union eye-ball-to-eye-ball in dealing with the Cuban missile crisis that would have snowballed into a third world war.
Today, the political tracks are being burnt by some presidential aspirants running and jostling for reckoning to grab the job of President Barrack Obama.
No one presidential aspirant has brought so much concern and stark fear to the minds of civilized world and lovers of unhindered or uncensored freedom like Donald Trump, the Republican Presidential hopeful in modern history.
It has gotten so bad that even several children of immigrants, frightened by his threats have continued to ask their parents if they would still be allowed to live in the U.S. or if they would not be killed when Donald Trump becomes the President.
American presidential debate hitherto was something that the whole world cherished and looked forward to as it was done with class and sense of decorum, unlike the experience of today which has left a bitter taste in the mouths of several people and governments across the globe.
It used to be a great source of democratic inspiration that spurred several people across the world to trace the path of democracy.
It was an experience that helped shape the presidential elections of several democratic nations today.
Looking at Donald Trump’s unguarded campaign utterances and strategies there are abundant reasons for all men and women of goodwill to show genuine interest and concern, because whatever befalls God’s own country will have a multiplier effect on the whole world.
It is unimaginable that Donald Trump has threatened to stop Muslims coming to America, to engage in racial politics, in the name of fighting terrorism; to expel all illegal immigrants from the United States, build walls, etc. if he becomes the next American president.
He had also threatened to kill the family members of terrorists, though he later renounced that.
Or “we want to make America great again,” an argument that does not also hold water except for the fact that they want to continue to discredit the great work the good Lord has used Obama to do for this country, just the same way He brought Roosevelt to save the nation during the great depression.
Obama came during the time of one of America’s darkest moments – Wall Street crashed, banks were collapsing, airline, auto industry and the real estate collapsed, with more homeless people; unemployment rate rose to 10%.
As if he was an incarnate of Roosevelt, Obama brought the nation out of such economic quagmire and yet today some people, just because they despise him probably due to the color of his skin continue to disregard his lofty achievement.
Today, unemployment rate is down to 4.9%.
So in essence what Donald Trump is selling to the American people today is a product of the Republican Party which only tends to further polarize the already polarized nation.
Moreover, it is laughable when the self-styled neo Reagan Republicans, like Donald Trump himself, his arch rivals; Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz invoke the spirit of former President Reagan in their campaigns to lure the unsuspecting American electorate into voting for them.
The truth is that they are faking Reagan as their attitudes and behaviors run counter to all that the late president stood for.
When Reagan said he wanted to make America great again it was not because he despised immigrants and wanted to build wars and embark on mass deportation of illegal immigrants.
Rather he did so with obvious and genuine reasons, especially with the humiliation of the country under President Jimmy Carter by the Islamic Republic of Iran after they took 52 American hostages following the 1979 Islamic revolution that overthrew the Shah of Iran whom the militants considered to be an American stooge.
The hostage crisis which turned American public opinion against Jimmy Carter in an election period lasted from November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981(ending coincidentally the same day Ronald Reagan was sworn in as the 40th president).
It would amount to a fraud for these politicians to keep invoking the Reagan sprit as there is no doubt that the late president, hearing this would be rolling in his grave, protesting that a bunch of political misfits in America are misusing his name for their selfish political ambition.
It is unfortunate that among the remaining presidential aspirants of the Republican Party only Governor John Kasich of Ohio embodies all the qualities of good president, but would he be given the chance?
It is quite remarkable that Reagan did not resort to fear mongering or instill fear as a bait to win the people’s mandate.
Rather, he gave hope to a troubled nation, confidence to a psychologically depressed nation and a vision to a seemingly directionless country.
Working with the Democratic Party leaders, Reagan granted general amnesty to millions of undocumented immigrants. That was Reagan!
Before his assumption of the mantle of leadership of this country, the world was much more divided with the cold war between the United States and old Soviet Union at its peak.
Reagan worked with the then Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev in an effort towards world peace to negotiate and sign nuclear arm reduction treaty.
He also worked with his Soviet counterpart to end the cold war and eventually brought down the iron curtain without firing a shot.
It was the most important, heroic and historic act that did not only lead to the unification of East and West Germany, but brought Soviet Union out of its shell to once again be part of the comity of democratic nations, crowned with capitalism from its age-long socialist system.
From the practical manifestation of presidential primaries conducted in some states in the United States so far, both Mrs. Hilary Clinton who is flagging under the Democratic Party and Donald Trump, waving the banner of the Republican Party appear to be sure bets that would lock horns at the Presidential Election.
If the presidential race is likely to be between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, then all lovers and defenders of democracy, human rights and freedom must watch out for the best or suitable choice at this crucial time in the life of the human race.
But analysts believe that Hilary will defeat Donald Trump in the election as she has the massive support of the minority, including African Americans, Latinos and immigrants in general, who form buck of the electorate in this country.
Minority in general, especially the immigrant community has been hurt for too long by the Republican Party and it has also paid dearly for it – a fact they vividly realized during the 2008 presidential election that brought Barrack Obama to the Oval office.
That election in which Mitt Romney lost was supposed to be an eye opener and serve as a teachable lesson. The Republican Party openly acknowledged that they had not done a better job with the minority in this country to make them have that sense of belonging and that they would retool.
Eight years later the same song still echoes – nothing changed in terms of inclusiveness, rather the party parades a new and worst set of aspirants who seem to have no place for minority in their political agenda.
Ask any naturalized American, especially those from Africa who they want to vote for they would say the Democrat and when asked why not Republican, the answer is: “they don’t want us in this country and they don’t care about us.” For how long can the party continue to carry this baggage?
Terrorism is an issue on the global horizon now, but the concerted efforts being put together by concerned nations, with the United States at the forefront should never be undermined by introducing racial/religious tendencies into fighting it as is being done by Donald Trump.
We are all well abreast of the origin or political gymnastics that brought about ISIS as a global threat; that the United States has a hand indirectly in its forceful birth is a fact of history when it invaded Iraq in 2003, using the presence of weapons of mass destruction as a façade.
Here is not a forum to trade blames anyway, but the promised approach being sung about by Donald Trump is in itself a grandiose threat to world peace.
These guys, going by their behaviors seem to be naïve about or ignorant of the dynamics of foreign policies and they must seek some lessons before continuing with their presidential ambitions.
Donald Trump is certainly a minus for how to counter global terrorism, because religion and racism are sensitive matters, as one has to be careful on how the fly perching around the scrotum is killed or else the scrotum will be injured badly in the process.
There is no doubt that an average American citizen cherishes his or her freedom and security, but not how Donald Trump is going about it in his presidential campaigns as his action portends more danger for this country.
Therefore, we call on American voters never to succumb to Donald Trump’s America.
In doing that the priceless contributions of legendary personalities like Franklin Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Barrack Obama etc. to world peace and freedom would be sustained and vigorously enhanced.
To be sincere, the Republican Party needs a frontal surgery on itself in order to survive the problems created by its posturing or alternatively, die and reincarnate.
With a rebirth it will have gone through the rituals of atonement after which it can then be a true party of tolerance and inclusiveness.

Donald Trump is a neofascist. He is new Adolph Hitler reincarnated. He is the antechrist. Donald Trump, the soothsayers have said, is the antechrist long predicted will mark the beginning of the decline of the United States. The rise of Donald Trump will lead to a coalition of the rest of the world on a Rescue and salvage mission of the United States. No empire, Kingdom, or state lasts fur ever. The history of Brutain, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and ancient Macedon, are there to remind us of the invincibility of any civilization. Even though many of us have seen that even the Republicsn party is presently a captive of Donald Trump irate politics. The party cannot and will not succeed in exorcising itself from guilt in the collective responsibility that the party politics will plunge the nation. America is heading for decline. The decline is no longer a mirage. We can see it down the horizon. Unless the Republican Party pushes on its corrective measure to replace Donald Trump. And quickly for that matter.
Well said. For 7 years now, the Republican Party have only elected people (you cannot call Tea Party type leaders) into congress who whose main agenda is to oppose President. Barack Obama. They have acted as if this country is not theirs. This is what have paved way for someone like Donald Trump. Now the so called “establishment” is all over itself. All I can say is that the Chicken is coming home to roost.
