A clarion call has been made for financial and moral support of the botanical garden established in the multi-million dollars Edo National Association Worldwide International Park at Utekon, Benin City, Edo State of Nigeria.
ENAW Park and Recreation Committee Chairman, Mr. Mike Ohenzuwa made the call during the week in a document, outlining the purpose and benefits of the botanical garden.
“Enhance your heart and spirit when you give your support to the Botanical Garden establishment in the multi million dollars ENAW International Park Utekon Benin City Nigeria,” he said.
According to him, the botanical garden will provide the medicinal value in plants and herbs.
“Your support will increase a bright future for children in all area of Pharmacological studies in Edo State, Nigeria and African culture,” Ohenzuwa assured.
He thanked all those who have donated in various ways to support the park project and urged others to emulate such gestures.

During the ENAW fundraising seminar at the Benin Club GRA – Benin City , (April 06, 2015) in his royal support for establishing botanical garden inside the ENAW International Park, HRH Aidenojie Ehidiamen the Onojie Of Opoji said that open spaces preservation will help communities in Edo State grow smart , preventing the higher costs of unplanned development because development actually costs towns more than it gives because schools, streets, police officers, and other necessary local government services drain more than they are required to pay in taxes .
Open spaces reduce pressure to construct on valuable farmland and natural areas such as the “Botanical Garden in ENAW International Park Utekon Benin City.
Attracting Investment
Economic plants and herbs in the botanical garden at ENAW International Park create high quality of life that attracts tax-paying foreign, local businesses and residents to community.
According to Professor Orianwu,( Benin Club April 6, 2015) Pharmacology – seminal ENAW-Park Fundraising, study show that company owner/CEO say that employees’ quality of life is the most important factor in locating a new business.
Small company owners say recreation , parks, and open space are the highest priority in choosing a new location for their business.
