Amidst uncertainties about the outcome of the March 28, 2015 presidential election in Nigeria, Edo State Chairman of the nation’s ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Orbih said with confidence in Benin yesterday that the success of President Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda will give him Aso Rock for the second time.

The PDP Chieftain said at a press conference he specially addressed ahead of Saturday presidential election that the PDP campaigns have shown enough evidence and achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan to give him victory at the polls.

Chief Dan Orbih charged the electorate in Edo State not to be intimidated in any way, but should come out in their thousands to vote massively for him and other PDP candidates contesting the March 28th and April 11th elections in Nigeria.

He did not spare the Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole whom he accused of systematically looting the treasury of Edo State via alleged frivolous payment vouchers, among others.

Dan Orbih displayed some of the alleged frivolous vouchers at the PDP’s secretariat venue of the briefing.

Chief Orbih also accused the Governor of financial recklessness, alleging he was fond of inflating the cost of his foreign trips/estacode to the tune of millions of naira, and that he was amassing huge wealth at the expense of the masses.

He took a swipe at Governor Oshiomhole over his country home at Iyamoh which he said cost over 10 billion naira.

Dan Orbih alerted the public that Oshiomhole has allegedly concluded plans to make use of helicopter on election day, in spite of the restriction order already put in place by authorities.

He used the occasion to receive a group of decampees known as Change Advocates of Nigeria (CAN) into PDP fold. This body had earlier been supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.
