Funeral and social wake ceremony in honor of Late Pa Robert Aritetsoma Mabridu will take place on Saturday October 4, 2014 at 590 Main Street, Melrose Massachusetts between 5:pm and 12:am.
Pa Mabridu passed away peacefully in his 41 Eheneden Street, Uzebu Quarters residence in Benin City, Edo State of Nigeria on August 31, 2014 at the ripe and enviable age of 101 years.
He is survived by three children, two grandchildren and three sisters, amongst whom are Mrs. Florence Alele Ogbeide, Mr. Nosa Mabridu and Mr. Anthony Mabridu (children)
During his lifetime, Pa Mabridu was an accomplished businessman, a highly respected leader and elder of his Ikoro native community of Ovia North East Local Government area of Edo State.
Highlights of the ceremony to celebrate his well-lived life will include traditional and cultural performances by the Urohobo and Ijaw communities of Boston, according to a statement made available to Alltimepost.com by the family during week.
The statement called on all friends, relatives and other sympathizers to honor the invitation to celebrate the life of the centenarian.
