Renowned Stock broker, Mr. Victor Ogiemwonyi has been awarded the prestigious Excellent Leadership and Humanitarian Award by the global body of Eghosa Old Boys Association.
The award presentation was one of the highlights of the organization’s 3rd global convention recently hosted by the Chicago chapter at the Holiday Inn on North Cumberland Avenue, Chicago, Illinois in the United States of America.
The convention with the theme, Humanitarian: Helping to Develop Our Community was also marked by an annual fundraiser and Gala Night.
While presenting the award, the organization’s President, Mr. Egbon Ehigie told the recipient: “It is in recognition of your exemplary leadership qualities, humanitarian generosity and helping to create employment in our community.”
The convention attracted dignitaries from various works of life, including Edo State High Court Judge, Hon. Justice M. O. Ighodalo; Bishop of Benin Anglican Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. P. O. J. Imasuen; Col. Charles Asowata, United States Army; Bishop Dr. C. A. Aigbe-Davis, of Bethel Baptist Church; Ambassador Kester Chukwuemeka Ifeadi and Col. Julius Ehioze Osifo, Defense Attaché, Embassy of Nigeria, Washington DC.
Others included His Royal Highness, the Onojie of Igueben, Atrasidi T. E. Eluojie 1, representative from the Mayor of Chicago, Ral Emanuel and representative from the Governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn.

Mr. Osagie Igbinosun, Secretary-General; Mr. Clifford Urhoghide, Assistant Secretary; Mr. Joseph Uwubanmwen, Treasurer; Mr. Edwin Obaseki, Assistant Treasurer; Dr. Chris Adubor, Financial Secretary and Mr. Edwin Edebiri, Public Relations Officer.
